Grandma smiling, and hugging young girlAre you interested in a long-lasting way to improve the appearance of your smile? We have an excellent solution!

Do you shy away from smiling when it’s time to take a picture? If your teeth have imperfections that you’d like to mask, a fantastic solution is available here at our practice—veneers!

Thin shells, dental veneers cover the front surface of your existing teeth to alter their colour, shape, size or length and transform the appearance of each tooth.
I have more than thirty years of experience enhancing the smiles of patients using porcelain veneers. As we work with a local supplier who handcrafts natural-looking veneers, patients can achieve a beautiful smile.

The Benefits of Porcelain Veneers

Our veneers are individually tailored to meet your smile needs. One of the most significant benefits of these veneers is that layers of porcelain are used to give the veneer a translucency and vibrancy that cannot be matched by a machine. I will help you choose the right shade for your new smile. You can select to have gleaming white veneers or ones with a more natural hue.

High-quality porcelain veneers

  • Can last for up to twenty years
  • Are durable and stain resistant
  • Will fit and look like natural teeth

FAQ

How long does it take to get veneers?

The first step in getting veneers is ensuring that your teeth and gums are healthy. That’s why your initial visit will include a checkup if you are not a current patient. If you are an ideal candidate for veneers, your handmade porcelain veneers will take approximately 2-3 visits to our practice over 2-4 weeks.[/toggle]

What does the process involve?

Before I bond your porcelain veneers to the front surface of your teeth, I will prepare your tooth which may require me to buff or file the enamel. Doing so will ensure your handcrafted porcelain veneers will sit flush. Then, I will place each veneer on your tooth.

Why do you offer porcelain veneers instead of composite resin ones?

Though composite resin (plastic) veneers are widely used, they are less durable, and typically don’t last as long as porcelain veneers do. They also are generally more prone to chipping and staining and don’t look as natural as their porcelain counterparts.
